It's amazing what happens when Republican women get informed and decide to get active!  NCRWF welcomed 15 new members to their September luncheon meeting to hear Bruce Brown discuss "The Conservative Movement"organization.

We hope even more Republican women will join us for our October 13 annual fundraiser, "Fun and Fabulous Fashion Show."  The festivities will once again take place at Tom Ham's Lighthouse, 2150 Harbor Island Drive, beginning at 11 am.  CA bi will provide the fashions to be modeled by our own members.  We'll have our usual opportunity drawings and door prizes.  Tickets are $40 for the full-course luncheon.  No-host cocktails are available.  RSVP to msiekerka@cox.net, or (619) 990-2791.  Funds derived from this event will support our election activities next year.

Three of our members traveled to Orlando, Fla., for the National Federated Women's biennial Convention and will share what they learned at our November 10 luncheon meeting at The Brigantine Restaurant in La Mesa (off Rte 8 at Fuerte Drive.)  Our speaker that day will be State Assemblyman Chuck DeVore,  who will address current issues within the state Republican party.  Mr DeVore is also a common sense conservative candidate for United States Senator in 2010 against Sen. Barbara Boxer.  We hope to have other Republican candidates for U.S. Senate as speakers next spring.
