44th Annual Benjamin Birthday Bash

(Mission Times Courier, San Diego, Ca) - The Benjamin Library in Allied Gardens celebrated its 44th Birthday on June 6, 2009  in Allied Gardens. City Councilmember Marti Emerald read from the Dr. Seuss class, The Cat in the Hat. The Cat in the Hat made a surprise guest appearance. The Cat and Councilmember Emerald  presented a special donation of Cat in the Hat books and hats to children of all ages.
