Registration for Benchley-Weinberger Elementary 2010-2011 School Year

(Mission Times Courier, San Diego, Ca) - Registration for those living within the Benchley-Weinberger Elementary School boundaries will be held on February 10, 2010 from 1:00 - 3:00pm. Kindergarteners need to be 5 years of age on or before December 2, 2010. You will need the following in order to complete your registration:
Original birth certificate
Immunization records
Two current proofs of residency (i.e. SDG&E, Water, Cable)

(Mission Times Courier, San Diego, CA) - The annual school auction sponsored by our Benchley-Weinberger Foundation was once again a huge success. There were many wonderful and innovative classroom baskets on the silent auction tables, so there was a lot of good-natured competition going on for the marvelous baskets.

(Mission Times Courier, San Diego, CA) This year's auction, Fandemonium!, celebrates sports fans and the teams they love. Once again we will be featuring the San Diego Chargers band "Time Out" and a succulent Phil's BBQ tailgate dinner. The event is Saturday, March 8 at 5:30pm at the La Mesa Community Center. All friends of BW are welcome.

Welcome Back From Vacation Everybody! Sixty-eight lucky students were invited to a pizza party at Chuck E. Cheese. Sharon Landacre, a parent volunteer and PTA coordinator of the fund raiser arranged for the students to be whisked away in small groups in a beautiful white extended hummer limousine.
